Predictions on the best performing premier league players called up for this year's Euros
The 2015-16 season was full of surprises with Leicester winning the Premier League, and many players showing off their best (and worst) throughout. With this summer's Euro 2016 tournament beginning to heat up, there's plenty of Premier League players that will be representing their country, with club team-mates facing off throughout the summer. If you think luck is on your side, then use the Ladbrokes score predictor in order to try and predict the scores of the upcoming games throughout the rest of the tournament. With the amount of players that have been called up this summer, we've put together a list of predictions on the best performing Premier League players in this year's Euros.
Harry Kane
Harry Kane had a fantastic season with Tottenham Hotspur last season, scoring 25 goals in 38 appearances. The player has been on a running streak for the last two seasons, and although he hasn't shown his true potential in the England campaign so far, there's still time to show off what he can do.
Jamie Vardy
Vardy has been a goal-scoring machine in this year's Premier League and England fans are hoping that his form will continue throughout England's campaign in the Euro 2016 tournament this summer. There's plenty of goal scoring options for Roy Hodgson, but Vardy could without a doubt be at the top with his impressive run. He's already shown what he can do, as he's scored England's equaliser in the 2-1 victory against Wales, so there's hope that he will continue on his goal scoring streak throughout the competition. We hope that he will be on form to challenge the Golden Boot contenders.
Romelu Lukaku
Lukaku scored 18 goals in 37 appearances for Everton last season, and with a transformed Belgium squad, Lukaku is the perfect player to be on the receiving end of assists from the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard. Whether it is with his head or with his feet, Lukaku regularly finds the back of the net even under pressure.
Mesut Ozil
Ozil had an outstanding first half of the season, registering assist after assist as he is known for and although he had a quieter end to Arsenal's campaign, there is no doubt that Ozil will be a key creative influence throughout Germany's Euro 2016 campaign. He has already deservedly achieved man of the match with the country's win over the Republic of Ireland, and has already assisted and had many shots on goal. As one of the favourites in the Euro's Ozil will undoubtedly help the squad achieve success. We predict that he will have one of the highest number of assists throughout the tournament.
Kevin De Bruyne
Kevin De Bruyne had a great season with Manchester City and although he only made 25 appearances, he scored 7 goals and was one of the biggest playmakers in the squad. He has already shown his potential with Belgium, and the number 2 squad in the world are very much favourites to win the Euros this year. This golden generation for Belgium will be headed with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku as they create chance after chance for the squad.
